おーやっと情報公開が解禁ね。11/13にこの記事をエントリーしたんだけど、本家で情報を公開してなかったもんだから。ベータテストもいよいよ開始されました。ということで、蘇った ReCycle について。
もう忘れたかと思われていた Propellerhead ReCycle の新バージョンのβテストが開始された。
- Mac OS X support. ReCycle 2.1 runs under the Mac OS of the future.
- Full Windows XP compliance. ReCycle 2.1 is a fully compliant XP application.
- Full 24-bit audio support. ReCycle 2.1 imports, processes and saves 24-bit audio files.
- Multiple Undo. ReCycle 2.1 has ten levels of undo.
- Reason Adapted. The stripped down, but oh-so powerful, version of Reason. Comes fully equipped with all you need to turn your REX2 files into music: three renditions of Dr REX, Reason’s mighty REX2 file player, a mixer, effects, the NN-XT sampler, plus the lightning-fast Reason Sequencer.
- Reload. A small utility program for smooth AKAI conversion. Gives you instant access to the huge library of sounds and program files available in the AKAI format. Load up any AKAI formatted sound disk, convert, and import into Reason or ReCycle.
というのが特徴。ReCycle はチョップした波形をサンプラーに送ることができたけど、今回のバージョンはソフトウェアが読み込めるフォーマットで書き出しできるらしい。しかも、ReCycle 2.1 のアウトプットフォーマットに dp 4 と MachFive があるぜーーーー！。グレイト！！というか、ハードウェアサンプラーはもはやサポートされなようだ（苦笑）。
しかも！！ ReCycle 2.1 は 2.0 オーナーにはフリーアップデートとなるらしい。よおお！太っ腹ぁ。βテスト引き受けるぞー。
